Release Notes (Learning Workflow Versions - Phase 1) 9 August, 2021
The latest release includes the following improvements to the Course Designer UX.
- All current learning workflows in the system have been given the status "Approved (v1)" and are the live versions that the students will continue to see.
- These approved learning workflows cannot be edited by any user.
- If a user has the content approval privilege for a course, they can Request Revision from a drop-down menu.
- Once revision is requested, the approved version will be copied to create a new draft version, and if the user has the privilege to edit content, they can make edits to this draft version. Note: The approved version will continue to be the one shown to students throughout this process.
- In the drop-down menu, the user will be able to switch through the versions available.
- The "View as Student" function will show whichever version is selected and will display the version number and status in the title bar.
- At all times, the student will only see the "Approved" version of the learning workflow.
- When creating a brand new learning workflow, the learning workflow will show as a "Draft (v1)".
Note: It is recommended that users complete a hard refresh and clear their cache before using this feature.
