The usage dashboard is an administrative level dashboard providing insights into user metrics and learner engagement across organizations and programs.
Access and Navigation
The usage dashboard will be accessible by any user with the privilege to access it.
To access the Usage Dashboard:
1. Navigate to the Insights page.
2. Click on the Usage button.
Monthly Active Users
This metric shows how many unique users used the platform in a given calendar month and the monthly average number of users. Insights can be filtered by last year, this year, and all data (default).
Learner Engagement
This metric shows learning events, remediation events, and % remediation in a given month. Insights can be filtered by last year, this year, and all data (default).
- Learning Events: The total number of learning content items served to students on the platform.
- Remediation Events: Number of prerequisite content items (as a result of remediation) served to students on the platform.
- % Remediation: % of student learning that was adaptively remediated on the platform.
User Distribution
This metric shows what type of users used the platform in a given month. Insights can be filtered by the month and the previous six months.
Total Student Learning Time
These metrics show the total time spent by students learning (excluding non-learning time such as signing in, browsing courses, reviewing courses etc.) on the platform each month as well as the monthly average hours and total hours spent by students learning on the platform. Insights can be filtered by last year, this year, and all data (default).
