How to Review the Section: Engagement Insights and Dashboard
The student engagement dashboard provides insights into student engagement and percentage of active and inactive students.
Access and Navigation
The section: engagement dashboard will be accessible by any user with the privilege to access it.
To access the Section: Engagement dashboard:
- Navigate to the Insights page.
- Click on Student Engagement button.
- Select Program, Course, and Section to view insights.
Student Engagement
This metric shows how each student has engaged in this section and compares students side-by-side.
- Time spent: How long the student engaged in this course.
- % Complete: How much of the course the student has completed.
- Avg. Score: Average score student has achieved across concepts in this course.
Active Students
This metric shows the percentage of students who are active in this section.
- Shows when each active student was last seen in this session.
- Shows percentage complete of the course for each active student.
- Click on the details icon to see an individual student's mastery in each finished concept.
Inactive Students
This metric shows the percentage of students who are inactive in this section. A student is considered inactive if they have not launched the section at all.
