Access and Navigation
The course: overview dashboard will be accessible by any user with the privilege to access it.
To access the Course: Overview Dashboard:
- Navigate to the Insights page.
- Click on the Course: Overview button.
- Select a Program and Course
Learning Paths
This metric shows the total number of learning paths and learning paths connected to live sessions in Canvas.
Concepts
This metric shows the total number of concepts in a course and concepts with prerequisites.
Sections
This metric shows the total number of sections and the number of connected Canvas Masters.
Enrollments
This metric shows the total number of enrollments and unique students in a course.
Time Spent
This metric shows the average time spent by students in the course and the total amount of time spent by all students in the course.
Learner Engagement
This metric compares the number of learning events and remediation events and the percentage of learning that is the result of remediation and the percentage of learning without remediation.
- Learning events are the learning content items served to students for this course on the platform.
- Remediation events are the prerequisite content items (as a result of remediation) served to students for this course on the platform.
Activity
This metric compares the number and percentage of active and inactive students.
Remediation
This metric compares the number and percentage of non-remediated students and remediated students.
