How to setup a Canvas course with edapt.ai LTI Configuration

Each course in Canvas should be set up with edapt.ai LTI Configuration 1.3 in order to enable the edapt.ai capabilities for that course. This setup will result in 1) LTI integration between Canvas and edapt.ai and 2) Ability for faculty to launch and setup (one-time) the course roster, assignments and grade book.

Follow the steps below to enable this integration:

Get LTI Info from edapt.ai:
  1. Navigate to the Courses page.
  2. Click to select the desired course.
  3. Navigate to the Learning Paths tab.
  4. Select the desired learning path. 
  5. Navigate to the LTI Connections sub-tab.
  6. Copy the Learning Path ID. 
Configure Canvas with LTI Configuration:
  1. Navigate to the desired course within Canvas.
  2. Navigate to the Assignments module.
  3. Click on the Details menu. 
  4. Select eDapt Create Assignment - PROD for the course to point to Production or eDapt Create Assignment - Stage for the course to point to Stage. 
  5. Paste the Learning Path ID in the pop-up and click Submit. 
  6. Select Master or Section based on what type of course. 
With the above two steps complete, the Canvas course is ready for edapt.ai LTI configuration. Faculty is expected to click "Launch and Setup edapt.ai App" to facilitate the one-time launch and setup.
