How to adjust the settings for a course

To adjust what needs to be done for a course to be ready:
  1. Navigate to the Courses page.
  2. Click to select the desired course.
  3. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  4. Adjust each slider as desired. You can mouse over the    icon to the top right of each slider to see a tooltip describing exactly what that slider controls.
Note: After adjusting a slider, a notification will display to let you know that the setting has been updated.

Here is what can be adjusted in Settings
  1. Instruction Items Required: sets the minimum number of instruction items per concept
  2. Learning Paths Required: sets the minimum number of learning paths required per course
  3. Self-Check Question Items Required: sets the minimum number of self-check question items per concept
  4. Summative Question Items Required: sets the minimum number of summative question items per concept
  5. Pre-Assessment Question Items Required: sets the minimum number of pre-assessment question items per concept
  6. Post-Assessment Question Items Required: sets the minimum number of post-assessment question items per concept
  7. Student Review Settings: Changes the settings for student review of the learning workflow within the student UI
  8. Mastery & Grading Settings: Changes the calculation method for mastery, the grading scope, and item type weights for steps within the learning workflow. Only users with administrative privileges can make changes to the Mastery & Grading Settings for a course. 
Note: Item Type Weights are inherited from the organization the course belongs to. These can be overwritten at the course level.
