What is included in the Student Performance Data Report?

The Student Performance Data report provides a detailed review of each student's performance in a course drilling down to the item level.

This report includes the following information (in the order presented in the data extract):
  1. edapt Course: The title of the course given on the edapt platform.
  2. Canvas Course: The Canvas ID for the course.
  3. edapt Classroom: The section name from Canvas.
  4. Unit Name: The name of the unit established in the Learning Path.
  5. Concept ID: Unique identifier for that specific concept. This is different from the Concept ID the Course Designer uses for a concept in the Blueprint.
  6. Student ID: Unique identifier for that specific student.
  7. Student Name: Name of the student associated with the unique Student ID.
  8. Item Type: Each item has an item type assigned to it: post assessment, pre-assessment, self-check, summative, or pilot.
  9. Item Name: Name of the item given by the Course Designer.
  10. Bloom's Level: The Bloom's Taxonomy Level (numbers 1-6) assigned to the item.
  11. Item Weight: Mastery weight assigned to that item based on item type. When weighted mastery scoring is selected in the course or learning path settings, each item type (post-assessment, pre-assessment, etc.) is assigned an item weight (i.e. 10, 20, 30, etc.).
  12. Time Spent: At the concept level, this is an aggregate of all time spent (in seconds) in a concept including the first and second attempt (the retry after any scaffolding has occurred). It does not include time spent in any prerequisite (scaffolded) concepts. At the item level, this is the time spent (in seconds) on an item including the retry attempt.
  13. Score: At the concept level, this is the mastery score based on the course or learning path settings. If the student has not completed the concept, it will display as Not Completed. At the item level, the score will display as a 1 (correct) or 0 (incorrect).
  14. Has Scaffolded: Indicates whether or not the student was scaffolded in that concept. This will display as True or False. True means the student was scaffolded, and false means the student was not scaffolded.
  15. Grade: The student's grade for the concept or unit depending on the grading setting set up in the Learning Path. If the student has not completed the concept or unit, the grade will display as Not Completed.
  16. Number of Attempts: The number of times the student submitted a response to a question item. If the number of attempts is 1 and the score is 0 (incorrect), then the student chose not to try again.
