What does it mean to be scaffolded in a concept?
Scaffolding happens when you struggle with a concept and are automatically directed to a prerequisite to build foundational knowledge. If you continue to struggle, you may be scaffolded to additional prerequisites. You must complete these before returning to the original concept.
To check if a concept is scaffolded:
- Open the desired course.
- Go to the unit containing the concept.
- Open the Unit Dashboard.
- Find the concept and check its card. If it shows Scaffolded, the concept has been scaffolded.
Note: You'll also see a notification when attempting a scaffolded concept.
