What are the student learning progression settings and how do they work?
There are two student learning progression settings for the learning path: self-paced and fixed-pace. These settings can be controlled in the learning path settings menu and are frozen when the LTI connection is established.
What is a self-paced learning path?
A self-paced learning path is one in which students are able to move to the next unit at their own pace whenever they complete the current unit.
How does it work?
In a self-paced learning path, the student will not be able to progress to the next unit until the previous unit is completed.
What is a fixed-paced learning path?
A fixed-paced learning path is one in which students move forward to the next unit at a pace defined by a series of due dates.
How does it work?
In a fixed-pace learning path, the student will not be able to progress to the next unit in the learning path until the previous unit is completed AND the due date for the previous unit expires. Due dates are established in the unit settings menu.
